D J RECYCLING · WORTHING AND WEST SUSSEX
Privacy notice
How D J Recycling collects, uses and protects the details you send us, and the rights you have over them.

Who we are
D J Recycling (Daniel Macdonald trading as D J Recycling), 1 Cumbrian Close, Worthing, West Sussex, BN13 2JF, is responsible for the personal information collected through this website. You can contact us about privacy at info@dj-recycling.co.uk or on 01903 905088.
What information we collect
When you use our quote form we collect your name, phone number and postcode, plus anything you choose to add, such as your email address, preferred date, the skip size or job and notes about the waste or access. We also record which page you sent the form from.
If you call, message us on WhatsApp or email us, we receive the details and photos you choose to share.
Why we use it
We use your details to reply to your enquiry, give you a quote and arrange and complete the job you book. This is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and to carry out that contract.
We keep booking and waste records because the law requires it, for example waste transfer notes under the waste duty of care rules, and financial records for tax. We may also use your details to deal with a complaint or dispute, which is in our legitimate interests.
We do not sell your information and we do not send marketing messages unless you ask us to.
Who we share it with
Our website hosting and email providers process enquiries on our behalf. If you contact us on WhatsApp, Meta processes that conversation under its own terms. If a skip needs to go on the road, we share the address and dates with West Sussex County Council to obtain the licence. We will also share information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted within 12 months. Waste transfer notes are kept for at least two years, as the duty of care rules require, and financial records are kept for as long as HMRC requires.
Cookies and Google services
With your consent, we use Google Analytics and Google Ads cookies, managed through Google Tag Manager, to understand how the website is used and to measure the results of our advertising. Nothing is set until you choose Accept in the cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time using Cookie settings in the footer.
Our review ratings are loaded from Google. When you visit, your browser may also store small files needed for the site to work, such as your cookie choice, cached images and fonts.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to or restrict how we use it. Email info@dj-recycling.co.uk and we will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
