Skips in a historic market town
The centre of Steyning is a conservation area full of timber-framed and listed buildings. Streets like Church Street are narrow, parking is scarce and a skip on the road needs a council licence. For small jobs here, a skip bag on a path is often the simpler option.
Away from the centre, the estates and roads on the edges of town have proper drives. Check there is room for the lorry to reverse in and clear space above for the lifting arm.
