HOUSE & FLAT CLEARANCE · WORTHING

Rooms from real clearances we have done. Every photo is our own.

YOUR QUESTION, ANSWERED
A house clearance can cover an entire property or selected rooms. The price depends on how much there is, which floors it is on, parking, and what needs to stay.

We clear homes before a move, after a tenancy or ahead of a renovation. First we agree what goes and what stays. For bigger jobs, we may pop round to look first.

Collections from flats with lifts, stairs, shared entrances and tricky parking.

Clearing a relative's home? Set aside papers, valuables and keepsakes before we start, and we will work around them.
PRACTICAL INFORMATION
Before we arrive, set aside anything you want to keep, take out valuables and paperwork, and tell us about any appliances. A list of rooms in order helps us avoid taking the wrong things.
Please mention narrow staircases, limited parking, difficult access and any deadline tied to a sale or handover. We then work out how long it will take and give you a price.
PRICES & QUOTATIONS
We price a clearance on how much there is, how heavy it is and how far we carry it, not just the number of rooms. We will ask a few quick questions and give you a fixed price.
If it is only a sofa or a few bags, a rubbish removal or sofa collection is cheaper than a house clearance.
PLAN YOUR SERVICE
A whole-property clearance is different from removing one bulky object. It can mean furniture, belongings, garden items and storage, with some things kept back for the family. Agreeing it up front means no surprises on the day.
Label what stays and tell us which rooms to leave alone. For a partial clearance, a room-by-room list helps more than “two-bedroom house”.
Let us know the handover date, key arrangement, parking situation and any items that must remain for the landlord or next occupant. If the property is above ground floor, include lift access and the number of flights of stairs.
Set aside documents, photos, jewellery and keepsakes before we start. If several family members are involved, agree who decides what goes.
WhatsApp a few pictures of each room, or describe what needs clearing.
We price the job from your photos, so you know the cost before we arrive.
Our team does the lifting and loading and leaves the property clear.

Remove documents, valuables and belongings you wish to keep. Point out anything heavy, unusual or awkward to get out.

Yes. Tell us which rooms and items should go, and everything else stays. Make a separate list of belongings to retain and point out lofts, garages or garden items only if you want them included.
Remove documents, jewellery, photographs and personal items that need to be kept before collection begins. For probate or shared ownership situations, agree who can authorise the removal of remaining contents.
AREAS WE COVER
House clearances are planned in advance, so we take them on across a wide stretch of Sussex, from Chichester to Brighton and up to Billingshurst.
Most house clearances we do in Worthing fall into three groups. A family clearing a parent's home after a move into care or a bereavement. A landlord emptying a rental between tenants. Or someone downsizing from a semi in Durrington or Goring to a flat.
Each one is priced the same way, by how much there is and how hard it is to get out. A bungalow with a drive is quick. A second-floor flat near the seafront with no lift takes longer, so tell us the floor and the parking situation when you ask for a price.
Before we arrive, take out anything you want to keep, plus paperwork, photos and valuables. Mark furniture you would like to go to charity and we will tell you honestly whether it is likely to be accepted. Sofas and fridges are handled separately from general waste, so point them out. Mattresses are included at no extra charge.
Photos of each room on WhatsApp are the fastest way to a fixed quote. Many standard three-bed houses can be cleared in one visit, depending on access and how much there is. We confirm timings when we quote.
Send photos on WhatsApp or ring for a quote.
