PRACTICAL INFORMATION
The standard hire period is seven days, including the arranged delivery and collection. Please tell the team if you need longer; extra days cost £5 each, and any extension must be agreed before it is booked.
Waste restrictions matter as much as skip size. A mixed waste price does not cover hazardous items, electrical appliances, plasterboard or heavy rubble. Mattresses are fine, and we never charge extra for them. Describe the load so we can advise what can be accepted and whether a different rate applies.
PRICES & QUOTATIONS
Our mixed/general waste prices are £125 for 2 yards, £220 for 4 yards, £250 for 6 yards and £320 for 8 yards, all excluding VAT. Green waste and hardcore cost less. Request a postcode-specific quote before booking.
A skip makes sense when you want to fill it over a few days and have room on the drive. If you cannot accommodate a skip, prefer not to lift heavy items, or need a single collection, see our rubbish removal service.
| Skip size | Hardcore only (no soil) | Green waste only | Mixed / general |

All displayed skip prices exclude VAT. Delivery, collection and tipping are included in the price, and mattresses go in at no extra charge. Heavy waste is restricted to 2- and 4-yard skips. The hardcore-only price covers clean brick, concrete and rubble, which is recycled at no tipping cost. Soil is charged at the mixed waste price. Ton bags and skip bags are quoted separately.
Drawn next to someone 1.75m tall, because an 8-yard skip looks a lot bigger on a driveway than it does in a price list.

Keep the load level with the top. Call when you're done and we collect it.
Our base is at 1 Cumbrian Close, BN13, so every part of Worthing is a short run for our lorries. We deliver across all four Worthing postcode districts, BN11, BN12, BN13 and BN14.
In the town centre, Broadwater and East Worthing (BN11 and BN14), many homes are Victorian and Edwardian terraces with no drive. A skip there usually needs a road permit from West Sussex County Council, so allow time for it, or ask us about a skip bag or a rubbish collection instead.
Goring, Ferring and West Worthing (BN12) have more bungalows and semis with drives, which suit a 4 or 6-yard skip. In Durrington, Salvington and Tarring (BN13 and BN14), short drives are common and a 4-yard skip is the size we deliver most.
Up towards Findon Valley, High Salvington and Offington, plots and gardens get bigger, so garden clearances and renovation waste are typical. Watch for sloping drives and overhanging trees, and tell us about them when you book.
Wherever you are in Worthing, send your postcode and a photo of where the skip would go. We will confirm the right size, the price and whether a permit is needed.
CLEAR ANSWERS
Quick answers to what people ask us most.
For mixed/general waste, prices start at £125 + VAT for a 2-yard skip. A 4-yard skip is £220 + VAT, 6 yards £250 + VAT and 8 yards £320 + VAT. Other waste types are priced differently.
Seven days are included as standard. Ask about additional days before booking if your project is likely to take longer.
No. Our 6 and 8-yard skips cannot take soil or hardcore, even on the green waste price. Tell us about anything heavy and we will recommend the right size.
A skip on a public highway or certain private streets needs a licence from West Sussex County Council, usually arranged by the skip operator. A skip on your own land does not need a permit.
List the materials and roughly how much space they occupy. Send a few photos and we will tell you the size and price before you book.
WORTHING NEIGHBOURHOODS
Worthing is our home town, and we work in every part of it. Here is what to expect in the neighbourhoods we are asked about most.
Our yard is in Durrington, so it gets our fastest service, often next working day. Most homes are 1930s to 1970s semis and bungalows with short drives that take a 4-yard skip. The newer West Durrington estate has narrower drives and shared parking courts, where a skip bag or a one-off collection avoids blocking a neighbour.
Bigger family homes and bungalows near the seafront, with many wide drives that take a 6 or 8-yard skip for a renovation. Roads close to the beach get busy in summer, so book a skip for the drive rather than the road where you can.
Terraced streets and Victorian semis with little or no front drive. Skips here often go on the road, which needs a permit from West Sussex County Council. If that is a problem, a skip bag or a rubbish collection is usually easier.
Quiet residential roads on the edge of the Downs, a few minutes from our yard. Garden makeovers and loft clear-outs are the common jobs, and most drives fit a 4-yard skip.
Bungalows and chalet homes along the A24 with sloping drives. Tell us if your drive is steep, so we can place the skip safely.
