Garden waste
Keep branches and hedge cuttings apart from soil and rubble, as green waste costs less.
GARDEN & PROJECT WASTE · WORTHING
A project can leave several different types of waste behind. We take away garden, household and building waste across Worthing, with a collection, a skip or a grab lorry, whichever suits the job.

Waste we have cleared from homes, gardens and building jobs.

YOUR QUESTION, ANSWERED
Waste removal is best planned by material type. Soil, hardcore, timber, garden waste and mixed rubbish are each handled and priced differently.
Read the common questionsWHAT THIS SERVICE COVERS
A garden clearance, a kitchen refit and a site tidy-up are all waste removal, but each load is different. Knowing the waste type first avoids booking the wrong skip size or vehicle.
Keep branches and hedge cuttings apart from soil and rubble, as green waste costs less.
Tell us about concrete, bricks, tiles and plasterboard, as they may need separating.
Wood offcuts and panels are fine. Tell us if any of it is painted or treated.
Mixed household rubbish left after a clear-out can go with rubbish removal or in a skip.
PRACTICAL INFORMATION
Heavy rubble may exceed the safe loading weight of a larger skip even when there is spare space. That is why soil and hardcore can only go in our 2 and 4-yard skips. Green waste, mixed waste and clean hardcore each have their own price.
A few things need checking first. Tell us about any plasterboard, electricals, treated wood, chemicals or asbestos before we book.
PRICES & QUOTATIONS
The price depends on what the waste is, how much there is and how easy it is to reach. Send a few photos and we will tell you the best way to clear it.
Choose a skip if you want time to fill it, rubbish removal if you want us to load it, or grab hire for a big pile of soil or rubble.
PLAN YOUR SERVICE
The type of waste changes how collection can be planned. Not all rubbish is the same. Garden cuttings, rubble, soil, timber and household junk are priced and handled differently.
Tell us whether the load is leaves and branches, turf and soil, or old fencing and timber. Bagged light cuttings are very different from wet soil or large root balls. Keep different waste separate if you can.
Describe concrete, bricks, tiles, timber, plasterboard and packaging separately. Heavy rubble can reach vehicle weight limits well before a vehicle looks full, so a visual estimate alone may not be reliable.
Tell us about any bulky furniture, sofas, electricals or unusual items. These items should not automatically go into the same mixed-waste load.
WhatsApp a few pictures of the waste, or tell us what there is.
We price the job before we come out, so there are no surprises.
Our team does the lifting and leaves the area clear.
CLEAR ANSWERS
Quick answers to what people ask us most.
These need the right skip and weight limit. Tell us before booking, as they cannot go in our 6 or 8-yard green waste skips.
Ask us about branches, cuttings and other garden waste. Tell us roughly how much, and whether soil is mixed in.
Plasterboard is not included in the mixed waste price. Tell us first and we will explain how it needs to be handled.
That depends on your working time, the volume of materials, access and whether you can load the waste yourself.
Send your postcode, roughly how much there is, and a few photos.
What the waste is decides how heavy it is and where it can legally go. Soil, plasterboard, concrete, furniture and green waste are handled differently, so a quick list helps us price it right.
Do not assume so. Tell us roughly how much of each there is. For lots of heavy material, a small skip or a grab lorry is usually better.
